Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join Royal Inland Hospital’s (RIH) Medical Imaging Department. Located in beautiful Kamloops’ BC, RIH is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care. This position is a Permanent Full Time (1.00 FTE) . Shift types are days evenings and nights with the shift times being 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 16:00 to 00:00, 23:30 to 07:30.
What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.
Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
