Position Summary
We are seeking a Relief Full Time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC.
Days of work: Rotating, Days, Evenings
Shift times: 06:00 to 17:57, 07:00 to 18:57, 08:00 to 19:57, 09:00 to 20:57, 10:00 to 21:57
This is a relief position until the return of incumbent.

What will you work on?
• You will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
• You will restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas.
• You will support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.

• Successful completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing course.
