X Ray Technologist

Position Summary
The Radiology Team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (Trail, BC) has an opportunity for a Casual Medical Radiation Technologist (X-Ray) to join their team!

This position will work rotating Days and Evenings with the hours being 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 15:30 to 23:30. There is call associated with this position.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. There is an option to work in more than one Interior Health site within surrounding communities including Castlegar, Grand Forks, Nakusp, Nelson and New Denver. There is also the option to train in other modalities (Mammography, CT and MRI).

What Will You Work On?
Medical Imaging staff at KBRH work with a broad demographic of patients in both inpatient (ER, OR, ICU) and outpatient (cast clinic) settings by providing imaging for Trauma (ER), OR procedures, Fluoroscopy, and General XRAY procedures.

Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
