Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in Kamloops, B.C. is seeking a Casual Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their Medical Imaging team. This position works rotating day shifts, hours of work are: 06:30 to 14:55, 07:00 to 15:25, 07:35 to 16:00, 08:00 to 16:25, 08:00 to 13:00, 08:00 to 16:00
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. What Will You Work On?
The Nuclear Medicine Department at RIH is a fast paced two camera department with one Siemens camera and one GE camera, both SPECT/CT capable. RIH has consistently demonstrated it is one of the busiest exams per camera Nuclear Medicine departments in the province. We perform a wide variety of Nuclear Medicine Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures. Technologists have the opportunity to perform limited scope diagnostic CT studies for calcium scoring if they meet the required qualifications.

Qualfications
• Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Current certification with CAMRT.
