Position Summary
Joining us a Nicola Valley Health Centre, you’ll have a pivotal role in providing comprehensive physiotherapy in acute inpatient and outpatient services. Days of work are Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00.
This position is eligible for a $20,000 recruitment incentive plus relocation allowance.

About the Job:
As a Physiotherapist you’ll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans and providing education to clients and caregivers. You'll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. You’ll provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team.

Nicola Valley Hospital and Health Center is located in Merritt, B.C., a small city situated in the southern interior. It has eight acute care inpatient beds and offers a range of medical services, including emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory testing. The hospital's design typically reflects the needs of a smaller, regional medical centre with modern facilities but on a more compact scale. The healthcare staff is dedicated to providing care to a diverse patient base, including local Indigenous communities, seniors, and others living in the surrounding rural areas.
