About the Hospital | RIH is a tertiary referral hospital and offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services.

About the Job | As a Physiotherapist you’ll work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing your expertise to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services that empower individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. From conducting assessments to developing personalized treatment plans and providing education to clients and caregivers, you'll play a vital role in promoting functional independence and enhancing overall well-being. You’ll provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team. Your contributions won't stop there - you'll also have the chance to actively contribute to our organization's goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, research endeavors, and educational opportunities.

Physiotherapists work in many areas of the hospital: Othro, Neuro, Medical Intensive Care, Critical Care/Trauma, Emergency, Cardiac ICU, Daycare Surgery, Oncology, Palliative, Stroke Medical, General Surgical and Outpatient follow up. In this position the Physiotherapist will have varied work duties, as per operational requirements. It is a position requiring one to alternate through all areas of Acute Care and requires the Physiotherapist to rotate through weekends. Days of work are rotating; shift times 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Qualfications
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
