Position Summary
North Hills Care Centre, located in Kamloops, B.C., has an immediate relief full time Physiotherapist opening. This position is to provide coverage until June 2025, or the return of incumbent.

Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to clients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

In this position the Physiotherapist works in a variety of community settings including Home Health, Transition Team at Royal Inland Hospital and rural coverage as needed. The Physiotherapist supports seniors and others in accessing and navigating home and community care and chronic disease management services and provides care management support in the home assisting with interventions. There is ongoing collaboration with Community Nursing, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Speech-Language Pathologists and Respiratory Therapists.

Qualfications
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)].
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
