Join Our Team as a Scheduling Systems Education Specialist in Kelowna!
Are you passionate about education and digital health? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Scheduling Systems Education Specialist to join our Digital Health and Patient Scheduling team in Reids Corner, Kelowna.
Your Role:
As a Scheduling Systems Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our patient scheduling staff. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering comprehensive training sessions, ensuring that our team is proficient in the latest patient scheduling software. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Education and Support: Provide a range of education, planning, instruction, and support to patient scheduling staff.
• Training Materials: Develop and maintain educational materials and course curriculums tailored to support administrative and clinical staff.
• Collaboration: Liaise with vendors and collaborate with other Interior Health Teams to create and update end-user training materials.
• Course Development: Create course content and training schedules using various tools and programs delivered through multiple mediums.
Training Delivery:
You will also plan, organize, and deliver both virtual and in-person training sessions, catering to one-on-one and group settings. Key activities include:
• Needs Assessment: Communicate and collaborate with clinic management and staff to identify training needs and schedules.
• User Liaison: Work closely with designated users to understand their training requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Leverage the expertise of the Digital Health Patient Scheduling Team to assist with the delivery of education to end users as needed.
Position Details:
• Type: Relief full-time position
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

Qualfications
• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized two (2) year diploma program in adult learning/education or computer systems technology, plus two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. This position is expected to have a moderate travel requirement.
