Position Summary
We are seeking a Casual Support Services Clerk at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.
Days of work: Rotating, Evenings
Shift times: 13:00 to 21:00
This is a casual position. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

What will you work on?
This position performs a variety of receptionist and administrative support functions for Food and Housekeeping Services in accordance with Interior Health policies and procedures such as telephone answering, maintaining patient dietary records, typing, word processing, data entry, preparing routine correspondence/documents and reports, filing, and operating office equipment.
What should your application include?
• A current 5 Minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within past 48 months from a recognized institution, (NON-SUPERVISED TESTS NOT ACCEPTED);
• Your Resume indicating one year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
