Support Services Clerk

Position Summary
We are seeking a Casual Support Services Clerk at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.

Days of work: Rotating, Evenings

Shift times: 13:00 to 21:00

What will you work on?

This position performs a variety of receptionist and administrative support functions for Food and Housekeeping Services in accordance with Interior Health policies and procedures such as telephone answering, maintaining patient dietary records, typing, word processing, data entry, preparing routine correspondence/documents and reports, filing, and operating office equipment.

• A 5-minute typing test (40+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). Click here for testing details;
• Your Resume indicating one year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).

Qualfications
Grade 12, one year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
