Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the strategic members of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies in partnership with management to optimize the profitability of the various product lines.
- Analyzing existing rates and providing the necessary information to adjust strategies to the Quebec market, while respecting the company’s objectives.
- Managing and reviewing improvement programs to ensure that target margins on sales are met or exceeded.
- Evaluate data to optimize margins by supplier, price list and customer, targeting expected returns for each branch and product sold in Quebec.
- Provide leadership in pricing by adopting a proactive approach and promoting continuous improvement in this key department.
- Check invoices daily to identify potential pricing and margin anomalies and ask necessary questions.
- Analyze the sales team’s pricing review requests, taking into account the impact on margin, potential volume and competitive pricing.
- Strengthen the effectiveness of the pricing strategy and sales profitability using tools and reports that enable decision-makers to maximize their results.
- Contribute to training managers to make optimal use of the pricing reports provided.
- Assist sales teams in optimizing growth opportunities and resolving pricing issues.
- Supervise a small team and ensure the accuracy of rates in the ERP system.
