Reporting to the Project Director, the commercial construction project manager will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise the key stages of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with the various members of the team of project managers and coordinators to ensure the overall performance of assigned projects.
  • Be the permanent link with the client and ensure deliverables are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Actively participate in site meetings at all phases of commercial projects.
  • Administer costs, risks, human, financial and material resources.
  • Manage purchases and orders for materials and required equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety measures and report problems.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and laws in force (permits, subcontractors, provisional acceptance and end of contract).
  • Master the technical and financial concepts of a commercial building construction project.
