Description
As an Electronics Engineering Technician specializing in Embedded Systems, you will work closely with the Embedded Systems Engineer. You will assist in the development, optimization, and maintenance of embedded systems integrated into satellite navigation applications. Your role will involve designing robust and high-performance solutions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in tasks related to the development process of embedded systems, including:
- Designing electronic boards;
- Selecting components;
- Optimizing architecture;
- Develop the product’s electronic architecture;
- Design electronic boards by supervising their electrical schematics and component placement;
- Perform tests and firmware optimizations;
- Collaborate on identifying and resolving issues;
- Design and fabricate programming tools and test tools;
- Draft detailed technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and user manuals;
- Perform software programming;
- Act as a liaison between the Research & Development and Production departments to relay essential information;
- Execute electronic soldering and rework on SMD components on PCBA prototypes;
- Work closely with hardware, software, and signal processing teams;
- Participate in and organize team meetings to ensure seamless integration of GNSS system components;
- Work on integrating cutting-edge technologies into embedded systems;
- Continuously improve GNSS embedded systems' performance in terms of accuracy, stability, and responsiveness;
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all developments and communicate them to relevant departments.

- Education in Electronics Engineering Technician Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems development.
- In-depth knowledge of GNSS technologies (an asset).
- Proficiency in embedded programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with various electronic design software (KICAD, Altium, Proteus, Eagle).
- Advanced understanding of hardware and software architectures.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Analytical mindset.
- Proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
