Our Total Rewards team designs and supports the delivery of a total rewards program that is continuously evolving to position KPMG as a place the workforce of the future wants to be. We support employee wellbeing, encompassing physical, mental and financial through total cash (base and variable pay), benefits, savings, time-off, recognition and other standalone programs. As a Total Rewards Analyst, you will be integral in providing data & analytical support to our senior managers and be responsible for supporting the annual pay and benefits planning cycles, wellbeing programs and periodic total rewards-related projects, including the collection, manipulation, analysis, retention and reporting of related data.
What you will do
- Provide support to the Total Rewards team during annual base and variable pay planning cycle, as well as our annual benefits enrollment cycle
- Participate in the annual development of the pay planning and benefits enrollment technology, including user acceptance testing and supporting the administration of pay planning technology and pay planning tools
- Coordinate the submission of data to various competitive total rewards market surveys, ensuring the appropriate job matching and identification of data issues
- Prepare reports as needed on wellbeing, rewards and recognition programs, with a focus on interpreting the data.
- Populate presentations to firm leadership with a keen eye for detail, including identifying trends and significant changes year over year
- Act as a peer coach to more junior team members in managing complex and / or sensitive benefits cases.
- Support the senior managers in Total Rewards in costing various wellbeing, pay and incentive scenarios
- Provide communication support to total rewards programs and initiatives
- Participate in National HR projects as needed
What you bring to the role
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or equivalent work experience and education
- Ability to work in a dynamic, virtual team environment and manage multiple shifting priorities
- A passion for numbers and a desire to get into the weeds and apply your analytical skills to solve problems and recommend solutions.
- You’re able to learn quickly and take on progressively greater levels of accountability
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office products including Excel ; knowledge of PowerBI would be an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English; excellent collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skills in-person and with virtual team members and clients
- Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to deal with sensitive information
- Proficiency in English at a business level is required.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support KPMG employees nationally and will be required to communicate with English-speaking colleagues. This individual will be required to create documentation and share guidance to those in English-speaking provinces.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $46,500 to $70,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
