Position type: Full-time, Contract Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week – Some flexibility on days and times.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated HR IT Specialist to assist with the implementation of new HR software solutions that will streamline our processes and improve our overall efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong background in both IT and HR systems and is eager to contribute to meaningful change in our organization. As an HR IT Specialist, you will play a key role in the successful implementation of new HR software across the organization. You will work closely with the HR team, IT department, and external vendors to ensure the smooth deployment, integration, and adoption of the new system. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of HR processes will be critical in helping to ensure that the software is tailored to meet the needs of our HR functions and provides the necessary support to our employees.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the selection, configuration, and implementation of new HR software solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and staff to understand software requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Work with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth system integrations and data migration.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users to ensure successful software adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the software implementation process.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and user guides.
  • Monitor system performance and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth functionality post-implementation.
  • Assist in the customization and enhancement of the software to improve usability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during the implementation process.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT and HR systems management, with a focus on software implementation and integration.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software and other HR-related software tools.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with system integrations and data migration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both HR and IT teams.
  • Ability to provide clear training and support to end-users.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications in HRIS systems or related IT certifications (a plus).

Working in an environment where there may be smoke is required.
