Building on the success of our practice, we are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory team as a Consultant/ Senior Consultant
What you will do
- Determine and analyze clients' Oracle Payroll functional and technical needs
- Support in the implementation of solutions to drive business led technology enabled transformations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, and customers in multiple areas
- Undertake or support configurations to tailor solutions to client needs
- Undertake or support technical activities such as data conversions, integrations, security etc.
- Work with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
- Work in teams and individually as needed, including international teams
- Support engagements by owning accountability for individual client deliverables and by supporting the team, fulfilling client needs, and generating value.
- Cultivate relationships – fostering positive, strong working relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Work alongside Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Architects, Managers, and Implementation Partners in monitoring project scope, plan resource allocations, and establish success criteria for Oracle implementations.
- Collaborate closely with the KPMG Functional Leads to support project tasks and deliverables, encompassing planning, budgeting, performance tracking, gap analyses, progress reporting, and risk and resource management.
What you bring to the role
- A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required for roles in Oracle HCM, and Payroll. Advanced degrees or certifications in Oracle technologies or Payroll (e.g. PCP) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in working in a team, Oracle HCM and Payroll administration specific to Canada, configuration, or functional support roles is highly desirable. This includes proficiency with all modules in Oracle HCM and Payroll.
- Strong understanding of HCM Payroll (Canada) processes, policies, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to Oracle HCM and Payroll to provide effective functional support and assistance to end-users.
- Track record of meeting project objectives.
- Ability to collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver data conversion solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Solid organizational skills with capability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Commitment to continuous learning – staying updated on Oracle HCM and Payroll technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving Oracle HCM and Payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and system errors in a timely manner.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the conversion process, adhering to data security and privacy regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders, articulate technical concepts, document processes and procedures, and provide user training and support.
- Fluency in English is required (French is an asset).
