KPMG’s Business School (KBS) Audit is committed to building the Audit professionals’ knowledge and skills to maintain and uphold audit quality in client work. Towards this end, the KBS supports their professional development through development and delivery of high quality, interactive web-based and instructor-led training.  With that said, we are currently looking for a Course Developer to join our team to support the development of web-based learning. 


What you will do

  • Support creation of engaging and effective web-based training modules on technical audit and accounting topics using rapid development tools
  • Create and edit learning videos, PDFs, assessments, slide decks, participant materials, and audio transcripts
  • Create French language copies of eLearning courses
  • Test effectiveness of courses on the learning management system and document findings
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  • Serve as a technical resource for programs that are internally developed and presented.

What you bring to the role

  • Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Instructional Design and Adult learning
  • 1+ years experience in eLearning design
  • 1+ years experience with Articulate 360 (specifically Storyline and Rise)
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and MS PPT
  • Experience working with LMS (Learning Management Systems)
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to write effective instructional text
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables under simultaneous development.
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical acumen, strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Adept at relationship building and open to feedback
  • Familiarity with other eLearning technology and authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora or similar
  • Audio/video editing skills an asset
  • Instructional design experience an asset

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information   

The expected base salary range for this position is $46,500 to $70,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
