We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Full Time Consultant/Senior Consultant working in our Vancouver practice starting in Summer (May) 2025. Positions are available in the following service lines:

  • Finance Transformation

What you will do

Finance Transformation
An effective finance function needs to be aligned to the business strategy and should provide agile financial analysis and insight to support corporate decision making, while also meeting legal and regulatory requirements as a given. With a global network of professionals working in KPMG member firms around the world, Finance Transformation collaborates closely with CFOs and other finance leaders to help maximize the finance function's performance and empower them to become insightful business partners. We focus on a variety of areas surrounding our “Finance of the Future” vision to drive strategy and implementation across finance operations optimization, target operating model redesign, financial technology transformation, and regulatory compliance transformation.  

 

Supply Chain

Customer 
The KPMG Customer Team creates best-in-class digitally enabled customer experiences (CX) as part of our clients’ wider organizational strategy. We operate across six key service domains: brand and portfolio management, customer strategy, sales enablement, reputational advisory, growth strategy, digital commerce advisory. Our projects are about understanding strategy, technology, design, and process through the lens of a customer experience. Enterprise Performance Management  
The Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners. We are trusted advisors in budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on designing and implementing technology solutions to enable these processes. 

 

People & Change 
We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation and culture shifting. With experience in all industries, as well as both the private and public sectors, our People and Change practice helps organizations drive value and enhance success by optimizing their talent agenda and activating their most valuable resource, their people.


What you bring to the role

FOR CONSULTANT LEVEL:

  • You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.). Only the candidates who have already graduated, or will be graduating between December 2024 and April 2025 should apply.
  • You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • You have a strong academic record 
  • You have the ability to work independently without supervision 
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure 
  • You have a strong sense of personal accountability 
  • You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver 

FOR SENIOR CONSULTANT LEVEL:

Senior Consultants usually join Management Consulting with significant work experience, coming from an MBA, PhD, MD, JD or other advanced degree program. Senior Consultant are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact. Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 2 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position

  • You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field. 
  • You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities. 
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues 
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure 
  • You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver 
  • You have a strong academic record from your undergraduate or master’s degree 
  • You are able to support general project management and oversee the planning, scheduling and completion of objectives and engagements, asset development and other initiatives.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information: The expected annual base salary for this position is $66,000 - $85,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
