The Opportunity

 

The Manager, Instructional Design reports to the Project Execution and Resourcing Lead for assigned projects in any function (Global Advisory, Global Audit, Global Cross-functional, Global Tax and Legal, ad hoc Global projects) and is responsible for consulting with the specific project lead for the assignment. The individual provides sound instructional design and develops content in any modality as determined through the design discussions following established and acceptable adult learning principles.


What you will do

  • Supports the Performance Solutions Lead, in scoping proposed learning and/or performance solutions
  • Preparing the High Level Design Documents and associated resource requirements for large or complex projects.
  • Leads the detailed design and development activities for assigned portfolio of projects.
  • Partners with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet the business needs.
  • Leads the development of instructor briefings-trainings and liaises with external vendors as required.
  • Ensures compliance with Global L&D design and development architecture and standards as well as the measurement requirements and takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of the Global solutions developed to identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency/effectiveness.

What you bring to the role

  • 6+ years’ experience in Adult learning design and development
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Performance solutions design and development experience
  • Experience working with various modalities including ILT's, VILT's, Videos, elearning modules etc.
  • Evaluation of learning solutions
  • Performance Consulting
  • Design Thinking
