Essential Responsibilities
- Lead project execution, ensuring compliance with contracts, sub-contracts, plans, specs, and shop drawings.
- Supervise and coordinate sub-trades.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on the project.
- Ensure materials and work meet quality standards and codes.
- Maintain and update the construction schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Issue purchase orders, confirm material receipt, and manage equipment returns.
- Participate in project meetings to monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate daily reports on site activities and inspections.
- Perform duties as outlined in Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or 2 years as a Foreman.
- OFA Level 2 ticket is an asset.
- Strong ability to build relationships with finishing sub-trades, suppliers, and vendors.
- Proven experience in managing project schedules and conducting PDIs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Solid understanding of construction practices, documents, and project management.
- Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid provincial driver’s license.
Work Conditions
- Site based
- Night shifts.
- Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
