You are a Data Analyst who is primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional accuracy in all financial reporting and data exports. You will act as the custodian of financial data, overseeing the timely and precise recording of all revenue and costs to guarantee 100% accuracy. You will require a thorough understanding of operations, cost structures, and revenue generation process to ensure the systems and processes meet the operational needs both currently and in the future.You must demonstrate a deep understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable inner workings and must be able to take a leading role on assigned finance-related projects to ensure their success.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Regularly review systems data to ensure completeness and correctness of inputted and processed data and verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze anomalies or discrepancies that arise from the processed data and determine the appropriate course of action to remediate those anomalies. This will include consultation various teams and its members when necessary,
- When necessary correct anomalous data within the systems and when reasonable to do so, and
- Configure the various systems with updated logic to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Maintain constant business awareness on anticipated and unexpected changes that may potentially impact Billing and Payroll processes. This role will advise & facilitate actions with associated teams including internal teams & external vendors with clear communications of potential effects and possible remedies without undue delay. In some cases, team leadership & ownership may be required when implementing new systems development.
- Generate all bi-weekly and monthly data reports for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring the accurate and timely capture of data to fully support AP and AR requirements.
- Performs testing on new features, enhancements, and corrective fixes in the LTS Systems to ensure there are no regressions and the feature is thoroughly understood and fully implemented prior to general availability to the end user.
- Provides guidance to new and current staff and vendors on various work processes so the data that is input into the various systems is coherent, correct and complete, and also review the work of the Systems staff that are executing data changes to ensure those actions are correct and complete
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience designing operational database pipelines involving 3rd party apps, including low-code platforms such as QuickBase, Jira and Power BI
- 4+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and PowerShell scripting considered a strong asset
- 4+ years of experience as a business systems analyst, or data analyst with proven communication and project management skills
- 4+ years experience in financial data management
- Knowledge of Billing and Payroll working processes
- Knowledge of Billing and Payroll data and its exceptions
- Expert knowledge of business systems and reporting best practices; ability to translate business requirements into robust system and reporting design specifications.
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts and RDBMS best practices.
- Strong analytical skills.
Work Conditions:
- This is a hybrid position where you will be required to work from home and the office.
Compensation
$75,200.00 - 103,400 Annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
