Work Conditions

  • Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day

  • Project end date: August 2025

  • Travel allowance provided for those that qualify (proof of residency required)

  • Site based camp accommodations provided

  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Essential Responsibilities

  • Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms

  • Provide roofing support, perform pre-outage work and concrete pours

  • Comprehend drawings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions

  • Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb, and the right size, shape, and location

  • Willingness to lend a hand with basic concrete work

  • Strong communication and a team player with demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Certified Journeyperson with previous experience in an industrial setting or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial authority

  • Non-ticketed carpenters must have 4+ years relevant experience to the industrial carpentry trade

  • Previous experience in an industrial setting using concrete forms

  • Physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs. bend, kneel, crouch and climb stairs on a regular basis

  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing and criminal background checkMust have a valid Driver's License and or a clear driver's abstract
