You are a Sustainment Systems Analyst who is responsible for the sustainment and continuous improvement of the JD Edwards (JDE) platform including related third-party software for reporting, and data management. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, end-users and information technology team members to sustain and optimize the production ERP systems, processes, and solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Primarily provides tier 2 (and at times, tier 3) level ERP production support focusing on JDE platform interoperability, security, and environment management including third-party software.
  • Evaluates incoming ERP production incidents and technical requests and identifies appropriate technical solutions to execute and solve for business requirements.
  • Documents production incidents including incident root cause analysis, recommendations for permanent resolution, and relevant knowledge articles as appropriate.
  • Configures the JDE application to resolve defects; plans and executes thorough functional / system testing of defect fixes; and proactively manages technical change management.
  • Focuses on ERP trouble-shooting and other sustainment activities including JDE environment management, security administration, JDE Orchestrations, interoperability with third-party products such as DAS reporting, BI Publisher, FTP, and integration middleware.
  • Proactively and effectively communicates systems changes and updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assists with periodic internal and external compliance audits.
  • Executes, advocates and/or advises others with JDE platform continuous improvement work to optimize the robustness and resiliency of the platform.
  • Supports and maintains standards to preserve, and optimize, ERP system stability and resiliency such as quality assurance, documentation, application monitoring, release to production, and knowledgebase artifacts.
  • Maintains own knowledge and shared knowledge repositories

Qualifications:

  • 5, or more, years of experience in ERP application sustainment, security administration, and continuous improvement in the role of systems or business analyst
  • Experience with ERP sustainment practices using a modern ITSM application (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Experience working with external managed services providers
  • Business Analyst certificate, is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills for collaborating with business and technical team members
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Intermediate knowledge of systems analysis, quality assurance, technical change management with the ability to identify/define gaps, risks, and requirements
  • Proficient with JDE object management configuration, package management, security management, menu management, reporting, job scheduling and related monitoring activities, is desirable
  • Intermediate skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams

Work Conditions:

  • Occasional event-related travel may be required

Compensation

$77,600.00 - 106, 700 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
