Job Summary:

Location of work: Edmonton Alberta

• Drive in and drive out; Edmonton and surrounding area applicants will be considered due to location of the project
• Shift based position working either five days on and two days off or six days on and 1 day off working 10-12 hours per day

• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Project start date: January 2025

Essential Responsibilities:

• Working with piling operators and equipment to ensure accurate placement and alignment of various forms of piles
• Perform general labourer type tasks including: equipment spotting, equipment upkeep, and site housekeeping
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field
• You are a team player with a strong safety record, who takes pride in their work.
• Commit to daily safety toolbox talks, worksite inspections and ongoing hazard assessments
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to problem solve in the field with input from supervision while communicating effectively with other members of the team
• Able to take lead during pile installation and work closely with the drill rig and loader operators

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Piling Swamper is an asset
• Would have a high degree of respect for safe work habits
• Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance L2, a basic rigging certification would be an asset
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
