Job Summary:
Ledcor is seeking an experienced Systems Installation Manager, who reporting to the Systems Integration Manager, will lead the day to day activities required for subcontractor management, shop drawing management, Systems procurement and installation management. Essential Responsibilities
- Provide input into strategic direction as a member of the Systems leadership team
- Schedule and budget management for procurement and installation phases
- Management of subcontractors in the supply and installation of Rail Systems
- Management of a team of coordination and technical staff in delivery of scope
- Manage technical change with the Systems design / Systems Engineering managers
- Manage commercial change in coordination with the Commercial manager
- Coordinate handovers and interfaces with other installers and the T&C Manager
- Manage the construction certification process
- Manage the flow of shop drawings, client approvals, quality documents, PICOs, etc.
- Oversee construction safety, quality, and environmental requirements for Systems scope
- Creating and leading meetings as required to coordinate technical, commercial, and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 10+ years of experience in Rail Systems or Electrical Construction sectors
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma related to engineering, technology, or computer science, or sufficient work experience in a related field is an asset
- Red-Seal journeyman electrician certificate and subsequent oversight of electrical field crews is an asset
- P.Eng certification or PMP certification is an asset
- Experience with SCADA, telecoms systems, MV/LV/DC power distribution systems, and signaling and train control systems (preferably on rail construction projects)
- Proven client management and interface management skills
- Exemplar communication skills, attention to detail, motivated self-starter, team player
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and inspire teams
