Liburdi Dimetrics is a leader in design and manufacturing of specialized welding equipment. Our products are used in a variety of industrial sectors including aero, gas turbine engines, space launch vehicles, oil & gas, petrochemical and nuclear. Liburdi combines expertise in control technology and welding processes to develop unique solutions to challenging applications presented by these industries.
We have an opening for a Sales Representative. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will work out of our Dundas, Ontario location. The Sales Representative will serve and acquire customers by promoting and selling products and services.
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Develop or adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Visit new and existing customers to maintain and build relationships.
- Will work with Engineering Department to develop custom solutions.
- Prepare quotations by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships to ensure future sales.
- Perform in-house and on-site demonstrations of company products.
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and to further build relationships with existing clients.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key Education / Experience Requirements:
- Preferred 2 years of relevant sales experience is preferred
- Background and experience with welding and technical sales is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Experience with a CRM is an asset
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related technical field (Welding, Automation, Mechanical, etc.) area is required
