Summary of Position
This posting is for a Temporary Full Time Educational Assistant Position at Luseland School, commencing August 26th, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025. Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.
Nine positions are available in the schools below. Applicants will be given an opportunity to indicate which schools they are interested in applying to within their job application.
Bready Elementary School
Connaught Elementary School
Lawrence Elementary School
McKitrick Community School
North Battleford Comprehensive School
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
