Calling all Homewares lovers! The Assistant Product Manager Co-op Home & Entertainment will support the product development journey to bring our beloved brands including President’s Choice, Life at Home and Everyday Essentials to our customers. In this role, you will support the Product Manager in managing project tasks and timelines with internal stakeholders, while also coordinating with our suppliers to ensure their contributions are completed on schedule.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in monitoring of project management, development, and execution process with internal & external stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-strategy delivery of new products and updates to existing products as part of portfolio maintenance.
  • Responsible for the uploading and tracking of data in internal systems
  • Support the Product Manager in organizing the packaging & design kick off process to ensure team alignment to the project strategy by gathering information and samples
  • Assist in liaising between the project team and the in-house editorial, design, and production team with responsibility for packaging artwork process and circulation completion
  • Support the Product Manager in the development of strategic product plans reflecting business priorities which meet or exceed category financial objectives
  • Responsible for sample management and preparing for design review
  • Assist the Product Manager, when required, in preparing for Strategy Sessions & Business reviews using financial reporting, customer insight databases, and market research

What you’ll need:

  • Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for detail and accuracy
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Passion for homewares is an asset
