Summer 2025 Work Term

As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Job summary

This role contributes to the success of Loblaw Companies Limited by supporting our existing stores in replenishment of fixtures and equipment. The Coordinator, Store Projects works closely with District Managers for all banners to ensure store requests are actioned in a timely manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prioritize all requests in order to best serve the business as a whole.
  • Ensure articles are in conformance with the banner specific template, quantities are reasonable and accurate, and specifications match the most applicable model standards.
  • Generate and submit orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all requests contain the necessary authorization (re latest approval matrix) before proceeding.
  • Manage rejected invoices from finance
  • Communicate with vendors for outstanding invoices
  • Clear project commitments in a timely manner

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

General skills should include direct experience with:

  • Highly effective communication abilities
  • Energetic individual able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
  • Analytical Skills, attention to detail and ability to execute under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office application (Excel, Word)
