We are looking for a strategic technical leader who can drive expansion and growth of Loblaw Advance's proprietary DSP, MediaAisle. This role will cultivate and effectively grow relationships across Canada’s top agencies and brands, recommending solutions to improve campaign performance and ensure success. They will provide subject expertise and guidance throughout the campaign life cycle from pre-sale to post-sale. They will demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions. They will serve as a key collaborator with product leads to successfully bring new features to market and forge strong interest & adoption among clients.

Note: This role requires working at least 4 days on-site per week.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Revenue Generation: Demonstrate Loblaw Advance’s value proposition and unique programmatic offering to top agencies and brands, driving growth and incremental revenue streams to our media business. Provide a deep understanding of the platform and its best practices to successfully engage and onboard new clients. Be a thought leader to promote the platform at marketing events, large organizations, and executive stakeholders. Continuously strategize with agencies and brands to drive incremental revenue by evaluating key trends, successful tactics, and using new features to reach campaign targets. Oversee agency deals and yearly commitments, ensuring repeat customers and growth.
  • Planning and Execution: Work closely with the Client Success team to manage contracts, MSAs, rate cards for overall agency deals. Lead the platform onboarding sessions to demonstrate key features and best practices, serving as the product expert. Work with Product Owners, Client Success Teams and Execution Specialists to oversee successful campaign setup with new clients. Evaluate the agency business as a whole and identify other potential revenue streams through the platform (suggestions on additional spend, improved strategies).
  • Product Improvements: Act as the first point of escalation from the Client Success Team for any issues or alerts on the platform. Liaise with product and development teams on new features based on client feedback and industry trends. Prioritize tasks and milestones as the business stakeholder for all market releases. Lead proof of concepts or test new features to investigate market acceptance. Host training and product knowledge sessions with internal teams to keep them informed of new features and roadmap of future developments.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strategic and self-driven technical leader. A self-starter who can motivate and organize cross-functional stakeholders towards common objectives and outputs.
  • 7-10+ years of adtech experience, preferably working with demand side platforms.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and communicate complex subject matter or solutions for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong communicator and ability to translate insights into compelling marketing narratives
  • Experience selling and onboarding self-serve adtech tools
  • Solid stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage through ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite expected. Working knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce and other collaboration tools a plus.
