As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

QA Co-op Intern Student

Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network (a division of Shoppers Drug Mart) is looking to hire a student during the 2020 summer semester within our Quality Assurance (QA) department. The Student will assist with QA Document Lifecycle Management, Training Management, Audit Preparation activities. The Student will work with QA Team members to ensure a successful outcome.

What You’ll Do:

  • QA:
    • Assist with Document Lifecycle Management.
    • Archive obsolete documents per document lifecycle policies.
    • Purge obsolete documents per document lifecycle policies.
    • Track training completions and ensure records are filed appropriately.
    • Track and follow up on outstanding actions and update appropriate spreadsheets.
    • Assist with preparation of training materials for the ZenQMS system.
    • Assist with Audit preparations.
    • General administrative tasks.

What You’ll Need:

  • Working towards a post-secondary education in a related scientific field and/or post-graduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs / Quality Assurance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Relevant work experience is considered an asset
