What You'll Do:

  • Support the execution of loyalty campaigns at Loblaw
  • Work closely with finance to manage loyalty P&L and provide reporting and insights on variances vs forecast and plan
  • Provide thought leadership on loyalty offer strategy. Optimize loyalty investment to maximize incremental sales and profit
  • Deliver weekly reporting on loyalty campaign performance. Responsible for maintaining model to measure incremental sales for all loyalty promotions
  • Support marketing and digital teams on ad-hoc analysis and leverage customer data to deliver meaningful insights to drive business strategy
  • Synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer & syndicated research, market share, and campaign results. Extrapolate and interpret appropriate information to deliver value add recommendations
  • Develop efficiencies though automation of new and existing processes including developing and maintaining dashboards

What You'll Need:

  • 2-3 years related work experience in an analytical role. Experience ideally in Retail, CPG industry, Consumer Finance, or Telecommunications
  • Superb analytical and critical thinking capability; to not only manipulate massive, complex datasets, but also to derive meaningful interpretations & conclusions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable collaborating within cross functional team
  • Well-organized and capable of handling multiple mission-critical projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL
  • Basic knowledge of Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of dashboard visualization tools (Microstrategy, Looker or equivalent) is an asset
