GENERAL FUNCTION

The Brand Field Specialist is responsible for all activities relating to the promotion and sell-through of EssilorLuxottica products within an assigned territory. The Brand Field Specialist is responsible for deploying effective approved national training programs that will deliver on Essilor Canada’s demanding business and sales objectives for all core business partners including independent eyecare professionals and key account retailers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives for EssilorLuxottica lens brands within an assigned territory while establishing, tracking and communicating on agreed-upon KPIs with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedules and maintains a regular visit cadence with all doors within assigned territory and as determined by sales cycle priorities and activities
  • Actively promotes EssilorLuxottica products to accounts through brand and category trainings, while conducting needs analysis to identify training requirements
  • Develops strong working relationships with account management and personnel; meets with office managers to identify business opportunities to maximize EssilorLuxottica’s presence and drive sales
  • Is knowledgeable of and keeps current with all EssilorLuxottica products, services, promotions, advertising and competitive offers to facilitate sales efforts; maintains awareness of competitor’s products, promotions, and services
  • Provides customers with professional, personalized customer service to promote sales by increasing customer awareness and knowledge of EssilorLuxottica’s brands and the lens category though the delivery of approved national training programs with core business partners. This includes the facilitation of face-to-face and web-based training, field training, coaching for results.
  • Ensure programs are properly designed and implemented and that EssilorLuxottica Canada is achieving expected results by measuring the impact and effectiveness of training (ROI)
  • Adheres to individual office policies including dress code
  • Conducts regular EssilorLuxottica product trainings in offices or via webinar for Account Sales Associates, Opticians and staff to ensure of knowledge of EssilorLuxottica’s products, marketing activities, selling strategies and merchandising standards
  • Heavy Travel, 80% of the time, including overnight hotel stays

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BAC in business management
  • Generally requires 3 - 5 years of experience in a customer service environment; previous merchandising, training, selling and/or retail experience required, ideally in an optical environment
  • Heavy travel within assigned territory
  • Car and valid Driver’s License is required
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Driven to engage with account personnel and consumers
  • Excellent sales, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to speak/present, motivate and coach in front of a large group
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all EssilorLuxottica products within assigned stores
  • Ability to take initiative, generate creative selling solutions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make decisions in a complex and changing environment
  • Proficient w/ PC and IOS applications - Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, iPad
  • Bilingual- French and English (both spoken and written)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Optical experience preferred
  • Optician lisence an asset

Pay Range: 74,959.55 - 105,177.66

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
