Your Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Accounting Support – Manage the onboarding of new clients and support them throughout the entire accounting cycle.

  • Bookkeeping – Ensure complete and accurate bookkeeping by properly recording and classifying all financial transactions.

  • Invoice Entry and Tracking – Accurately enter supplier and client invoices in a timely manner.

  • Transaction Recording – Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts, in the accounting system.

  • Bank Reconciliations – Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

  • Tax Filings – Prepare and submit federal and provincial tax returns while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

  • Financial Statements Preparation and Presentation – Generate reviewed financial statements and present them to clients with strategic recommendations.

  • Budget Management and Financial Projections – Assist in updating budgets and providing reports on variances from forecasts.

  • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable Management – Prepare and send invoices to clients, track payments, and manage accounts receivable.

  • Document Management – Draft, review, and format various accounting documents while maintaining and digitally organizing client records.

  • Client Communication and Support – Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding government reports and required documents. Provide guidance and support in accounting and financial management.

  • Accounting Software Management – Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of the firm’s accounting tools and software.

  • Administrative Support and Other Related Tasks – Perform accounting data entries as needed and contribute to other essential business tasks.


Desired Profile

  • Experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping – Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks (Zoho and Taxprep are assets).

  • Financial Management Skills – Experience in budget management, financial projections, and business dashboards is an asset.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) – Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.

  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy – Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to financial management.

  • Autonomy and Team Spirit – Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously and take initiative.

  • Passion for Financial Optimization – Ability to analyze data and propose tailored solutions for clients.
