Data Analyst Intern/Co-op – Summer 2025

As a Data Analyst Intern/Co-op, you will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret extensive datasets to uncover trends and patterns that can enhance wealth management strategies and advisor performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and develop automated reporting tools that facilitate informed decision-making for Manulife Wealth advisors. Additionally, you will create detailed data models and interactive dashboards that provide Manulife Wealth advisors with actionable insights, thereby improving their client advisory capabilities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and improve financial advisory services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns that can improve the effectiveness of wealth management strategies and advisor performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data processes and create automated reporting tools that support the decision-making process for Manulife Wealth advisors.

  • Develop comprehensive data models and dashboards to provide Manulife Wealth advisors with actionable insights, enhancing their client advisory capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Possess strong analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as SQL, Python, and Excel)

  • Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI and Salesforce.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail.

  • A basic understanding of financial services is also essential for effectively supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing the advisor's performance.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
