Large Case: Implementation Senior Specilist

This role is responsible for the implementation of non-complex Group Benefits Clients by providing navigation for Plan Sponsors and Advisors. The role is the subject matter expert in all relevant areas, for ensuring effective implementation of newly sold group benefit policies.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated contact during the implementation, providing clear verbal and written communications that provides value to both the Regional Group Office (RGO) sales staff, Plan Sponsors and Market Sources.

  • Ensure sold plan designs can be administered within the technology, processes, procedures, and product offerings used within all areas of Group business .Evaluate and resolve appropriate non-standard risk assessments for non-complex new business.

  • Provide analysis and technical support regarding product, pricing, and alternate funding arrangements.

  • Engage Group Benefit business internal partners as needed to resolve client requests and issues, bringing up to management as necessary.

  • Support the RGO in maintaining Plan Sponsor and Market Source relationships by responding to risk, benefit, eligibility and administrative inquiries.

  • Actively participating in Group Benefit and Underwriting process and product improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • In-depth knowledge of Group Benefits contract provisions, administrative practices and claims paying systems

  • In-depth understanding of Group Life and Health concepts and terminology applicable to all markets

  • Understanding of funding arrangements, risk analysis and financial reporting

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Independent, self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with internal partners and Market Sources / Sponsors

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities within set time constraints

  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel

  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of internal and external customers

  • Comfortable with math and applying actuarially approved pricing methodology

  • Ability to work comfortably within tight turnaround times and fluid deadlines

  • Able to provide creative and thorough solutions that meets our clients’ needs while maintaining business credibility

Salary range is expected to be between

$49,575.00 CAD - $82,625.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
