Description
The Manager, Global Operations Strategy supports all aspects of Global Operations on crafting, planning and execution of strategic initiatives. In this role you will be instrumental in navigating multiple priorities to enable strategy decisions, including analysis, leadership reporting , KPI planning and forecasting, as well as execution of strategic projects. You will build strong internal partner relationships globally to promote strong performance across existing and new strategic goals
The Global Operations Strategy team is responsible for integrated strategic planning and management across all operations teams to achieve our global ambitions. The team works closely with stakeholders across the organization including other business strategy teams, Finance, Marketing, Contact Centers, HR and Procurement to deliver against our strategic pillars (Digitization and Automation, Customer Obsession, Managing with Rigour and Global Footprint).
Position Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives by providing analytical support and insight
Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data, industry trends, and market dynamics to support strategic initiatives within the global operations function
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes
Monitor and provide recommendations on key performance indicators which measure the success of various business initiatives
Develop internal reports and presentations aimed at audiences such as the COO Leadership team, business stakeholders and peers that provide actionable insights and strategic direction
Manage the successful delivery of initiatives - on time, on budget, and within approved scope through proper project management methodologies and by proactively working with stakeholders to mitigate risk
Ensure proper and timely communication is provided to the leadership team on the progress of initiatives and manage escalation process accordingly
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in Financial Services Strategy & Transformation or Management Consulting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Experience in a global operations environment or supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
