Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

The opportunity


As a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, deliver, maintain and improve business applications, working through the entire software development lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Builds, codes, tests, maintain high quality software and complies to specifications and standards
  • Translates user requirements into software requirements
  • Designs, develops, tests, delivers, supports and improves applications through entire SDLC
  • Lead offshore development team to deliver project in agile squad.
  • Revamp existing systems into cloud native platform
  • Completes and ensures completion of any required documentation required e.g. deployment, maintenance, support and business needs

What we are looking for

  • University Graduate in Computer Science preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Over 5+ years solid working experience in engineering roles
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation projects.
  • Good DevOps, API and Web app development skills (technologies such as Java / JavaScript / Angular / React / Kubernetes /Spring Boot/Message queue)
  • Experience in Cloud platform (Azure, AWS)
  • Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL database
  • Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
  • Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD
