Senior Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager with a focus on Group Retirement Compliance to join our Canadian Retirement Product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing compliance-related projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory and legislative requirements, and driving strategic initiatives within the group retirement sector. This role requires a deep understanding of group retirement products and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be working closely with product owners to ensure compliance of nuanced requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and Prioritize Product Roadmap: Lead the development and prioritization of the product roadmap for group retirement compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legislative, and strategic objectives.

• Backlog Management: Maintain an organized and prioritized product backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest regulatory requirements and business priorities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between compliance teams, business stakeholders, and IT partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on product initiatives.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, understand needs, and align product features with both customer and business goals.

• Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators to assess product success and impact, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed product requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with compliance standards.

• Documentation and Standards Management: Ensure all product documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years proven experience owning a major project or domain, setting an inspiring product vision, and executing a well-defined strategy to deliver results.

• Experience leading large, complex, cross-functional projects and managing multiple dependencies with exposure to regulatory monitoring and delivery.

• Strong bias to action and ability to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and communicate insights effectively.

• Experience reporting key business outcomes to executive leadership.

• Curiosity and a deep desire to learn and solve complex problems.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.

The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
