About the Role

As an Outsourcing Payroll Coordinator at Forvis Mazars, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch services.

In this role, you will support our team’s payroll masters and play a key role in communications with our clients. You will provide support for requests such as employee registration on payroll platforms, as well as the production and delivery of payroll reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for following up on these requests with the payroll masters and participating in all related tasks.

Your responsibilities

  • Respond to client questions and payroll requests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring timely resolution and managing the Payroll Support email inbox.
  • Follow up on the status of requests to ensure quick resolution.
  • Assist in processing payroll transactions as needed by the payroll masters.
  • Support clients with various registration requests related to their province of employment.
  • Produce and distribute payroll reports and other related documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve payroll issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Develop the role within the department by establishing workflows and collaboration methods among the various payroll stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

You’re probably a match if you have:

  • Good understanding of payroll processes and current legislation.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within payroll outsourcing services, preferably.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Practical knowledge of payroll systems, with experience in Desjardins and Nethris being an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Initiative and excellent organizational skills, with quick execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English to interact effectively with all our clients in and outside Quebec.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to build strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Keen sense of confidentiality and ethics in handling sensitive information.
