What you need to succeed as an Solutions Architect
Minimum of 7+ years progressive experience doing design and development work
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with Oracle databases including database administration, database monitoring and troubleshooting query performance, query optimization, etc.
Experience with Oracle Exadata infrastructure an asset
Experience in DevOps practices
Exceptional technical skills crossing a broad range of applied technology
Experience with PL/SQL
Experience with monitoring tools such as App Dynamics and OEM is an asset
Customer oriented and focused on delivering high value innovative solutions
A problem-solving mindset and decision making skills, leading the recommendations to implement appropriate improvements
Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders as well as technical teams such as business, DBAs, quality control analysts and security experts, as examples
Lead, mentor, and guide less experienced team member in best practices
Security Clearance: Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
