Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Support Specialist provides ongoing support to the sales team in all administrative aspects of the "sales" function, as well as initial contacts with potential new clients (lead qualification).

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Generate lists of potential clients and establish contact with them, either verbally or in writing, to learn more about their current and future needs, in order to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain regular contact with potential clients.
  • Regularly update all of our sales tracking and business development tools, including client management systems (CRM) information about our partners and potential clients, leads, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Contribute to market analysis by providing relevant data from our CRM.
  • Participate in identifying business opportunities for Mondata and any of its products, through regular contact with potential clients.
  • Monitor the sales team’s results and performance, in relation to established objectives, and share findings with the team and/or manager to make necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in improving sales methods, techniques and tools; contribute to the implementation of operational improvements.
  • Ensure impeccable customer service for each and every client, current or potential, in line with the company’s values.
  • Organize presentation and working sessions with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare quotes for clients, when needed.
  • Follow up with clients, provide basic technical support, and direct clients to the appropriate services, when needed.
  • Coordinate activities between different departments (sales, marketing, technical).

Your experience and skills :  

  • Degree in business administration, computer science, or any other relevant field.  
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support role, ideally in IT and/or cybersecurity. 
  • Bilingualism, to serve an English-speaking clientele in North America. 
  • Strong interest in technology and good knowledge of CRM tools and office software (Microsoft Office Suite). 
  • Knowledge of the IT and/or cybersecurity sector (an asset).
