Description
The Regulatory Screening Analyst plays a crucial role in banking compliance by evaluating whether clients appear on regulatory or internal watchlists. This position is essential for ensuring the institution's compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.
Your role:
- Analyze alerts generated by the automated screening system regarding potentially high-risk clients
- Conduct in-depth research to determine whether it is the same individual or entity as the one appearing on watchlists
- Examine and validate client identification information (KYC) against national and international sanctions lists
- Document investigation results with precision and rigor
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the appropriate hierarchical level
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal procedures

Prerequisites:
- Hold a degree related to the sector (bachelor's degree or equivalent) and relevant experience
- Possess strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Have good knowledge of banking products and financial operations
- Know the indicators of money laundering and terrorist financing
- Be comfortable with tools such as Word and Excel
