A career as a Banking Associate with Private Banking 1859 at National Bank, you'll offer wealth management services and advice to a discerning high-net-worth clientele. In this role, you'll provide a comprehensive range of financial services to individuals, businesses, and public sector corporations across Canada.

Your job:

 

  • Support the Private Banker and/or Senior Private Banker in delivering services and ensuring administrative follow-up.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by developing personalized, trust-based relationships.
  • Optimize interactions with clients and identify opportunities to make multi-product offers that meet their needs.
  • Answer client questions and act as a resource person for the firm’s policies, procedures, and complex products.
  • Complete administrative tasks, open business and personal files and carry out various transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Analyze client accounts, make follow-up calls, identify operational issues, and propose solutions.
  • Coach and act as a mentor in guiding and training new or less experienced employees.
  • Guide and train new colleagues who join the team.

Prerequisites:

 

  • Three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience
  • Investment Funds in Canada course, an asset
  • Experience in personal and/or commercial credit
  • Knowledge of banking, investment, and financing products
