A career as a Chief Quality Assurance Analyst in the IT Cybercrime Delivery Team at National Bank means acting as a testing specialist.
This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your skills and experience.
Your job
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business needs, specifications, issues, risks, context and technological components of the initiative
  • Produce testing strategies, ensure the planning and overall integration of testing activities as part of technology solution implementation projects in both a Waterfall and Agile model
  • Supervise and assist test workers (onsite/offshore), coordinate the activities of team members, act as a coach with resources in the mastery of quality activities
  • Monitor and control quality activities and ensure compliance with established policies, standards and procedures
  • Propose and influence the definition and evolution of the team's practices and processes
  • Participate in the implementation of regression test and functional test automation tools in a DevOps context
  • Recommend appropriate quality management tools and ensure the quality of deliverables with respect to deadlines
  • Monitor quality activities on a daily basis, including but not limited to test development, test execution and anomaly management
  • Participate in the creation and execution of test cases as needed
  • Certify the test compliance and quality of the delivered solution and make recommendations on the deployment of the solution in production
  • Participate in the development of automation and capacity performance (CPR) strategies
  • Identify the risks related to the quality activities implemented and propose mitigation plans and produce estimates for the implementation of quality activities
  • Represent the project in various governance forums with various stakeholders
  • Create and communicate follow-up reports adapted to different audiences, complete and demonstrating high quality and mastery of information
  • Promote appropriate solutions and make recommendations to rectify any situation that may affect the smooth running of projects.

Prerequisite
  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity OR Master's degree related to the sector of activity
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in test management, combined with 02 years in Agile project management
  • Experience using tools like Jira and GIT
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL, Stored PROC, Python, Visual Studio/Visual Studio code an asset
  • Experience in test automation and in a backend environment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance best practices and testing practices
  • Knowledge of the DevOps development process and the principle of continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD))
  • Experience in development projects including a large number of technical integrations and interdependencies
  • Knowledge of the concepts, technologies and solutions of a modern digital platform (Microservices, APIs, Real-Time Data Flows, Orchestration, Straight Through Processing, etc.) and their application in the context of Customer Data Management
  • CSTE and/or CSQA and/or ISTQB certification is desirable
  • Experience in the banking environment is desirable.
