A career as senior advisor in Universal Accessibility in the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility team at National Bank means supporting the definition of the vision, strategies and actions for universal accessibility at the the Bank as a whole.  This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, our customers and communities through your expertise in universal accessibility and organizational transformation. You implement the multi-year accessibility plan with the business lines, advise them in implementation, and facilitate the alignment of multiple stakeholders.

Your job

·                Establish and lead the implementation of the Bank's accessibility plan across all areas

·                Support and advise business lines in the implementation of the accessibility plan, in the prioritization and adaptation of their practices to promote accessibility for customers, employees and in the communities with which we interact

·                Ensure the commitment and coordination of HR partners, compliance teams, the IDEA team, IT teams, real estate services, and the various stakeholders involved

·                Listen to needs and feedback and work continuously with stakeholders to develop solutions

·                Contribute to the development and execution of strategies, tools, tactics.

·                Provide expertise and awareness about accessibility best practices

·                Act as an internal and external ambassador to ensure the cultural adoption of accessibility and represent ourselves in the ecosystem

·                Participate and contribute to cross-functional projects of the IDEA team and to the support of business lines in their transformation

Within the Employee Experience sector, you are part of a team of 5 colleagues and report to the Senior Director of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA).

Prerequisite

·                Bachelor's degree and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience OR any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

·                Expertise in universal accessibility or general knowledge of several accessibility sub-fields (communication, digital, information technology, real estate services, accessibility of banking products and services, employment, transportation) 

·                Demonstrated experience in the various topics of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity

·                Knowledge of the realities of disability situations

·                Ability to work with multiple partners and in matrix mode

·                Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
