Your job
- To ensure the support and optimization of financial market applications by guaranteeing their stability and performance.
- Monitor operations in real-time and respond quickly to incidents to minimize impacts on user activities.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve application incidents in collaboration with development, infrastructure, and external vendor teams.
- Automate recurring tasks and propose continuous improvements to optimize application management.
- Participate in the management of releases and ensure post-deployment follow-up to ensure a smooth transition.
- Be a key point of contact for users by ensuring effective communication and rigorous follow-up of incidents and support requests.
- Document the solutions implemented and contribute to the improvement of support processes.
- Participate in a 24-hour support rotation with pager, in collaboration with other team members, to ensure continuity of operations.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in an application support role
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex high-pressure incidents with a structured and proactive approach
- Experience in relational databases, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), monitoring, schedule management and file transfer (MFT, MQ, etc.)
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Jira
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, change and request management (ITIL certification an asset)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java an asset), with an ability to analyze code for incident diagnosis
- Experience in automating tasks and continuously improving support processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of the financial markets industry and activities related to critical applications: data repository management, transaction consolidation, position reconciliation, and accounting adjustments
- Knowledge of the AWS Cloud (an asset).
