A career as a Senior Director, Strategy and Delivery Architect within the Vice President of IT Delivery & Payment Operations, Cards, Compliance & Regulatory at National Bank is an opportunity to play a key role in the strategic and technological transformation of the organization. This position allows you to make a positive impact through your expertise in architecture management, IT strategy, and supporting teams toward operational excellence. This role is designed to prepare for succession in about a year and a half, enabling you to work closely with the current Strategy and Delivery Architect and acquire the necessary skills to take on responsibilities in the medium term.


Your Role

    • Develop and oversee the strategy for evolving technological ecosystems aligned with business line needs and IT sector direction.
    • Act as a key point of contact for architectural governance and ensure the application of guiding principles.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of projects that mitigate various risks.
    • Actively contribute to technological transformation projects as a representative of Urbanism.
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of architectural practices through discussions within the Urbanism committee.
    • Ensure the execution of architectural practices according to established standards, in collaboration with the Bank's Enterprise Architecture team (Urbanism).
    • Support and enhance the skills of architects within our Vice Presidency/Delivery Tower to ensure optimal solutions aligned with our targets.


    Your Team

    The IT Vice Presidency for Payments, Cards, and Regulatory Compliance consists of over 800 specialists who work together in an agile and proactive manner to transform our technologies and support the Bank’s ambitions. Within the team, you will work alongside 8 other Senior Directors and report directly to the VP of IT & Operations.     Prerequisites

    • University degree in architecture, computer engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic management or architecture, ideally in a banking or technology environment.
    • Expertise in large-scale transformation management.
    • Proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
    • Mastery of enterprise architecture and solution architecture principles.
