What's a fun internship like?

Are you looking for an internship where you can make a real contribution to the continuous improvement and quality of industrial processes? At Soucy Baron, we offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in project management, problem solving and process optimization. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be at the heart of the quality and continuous improvement process.


In this internship, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Contribute to the management of all quality indicator concepts and reports
  • Contribute to the implementation, initiation and promotion of quality and statistical tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen...)
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Study project management concepts and tools, review the guide and propose supports for visualizing and monitoring performance indicators.
  • Contribute to “Sustainable Development and the Environment” by working on energy efficiency and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
Profile With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful:
  • In the process of obtaining a DEC or BAC in industrial or mechanical engineering or other relevant field
  • Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma and Kaizen continuous improvement tools (an asset)
  • Good organizational skills, meticulousness and tenacity
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to have a strong impact and influence
  • Functional bilingualism, both oral and written, in order to interpret methods that are sometimes in English (French/English).
  • Knowledge of ISO9001-2015 and Advanced Product Quality Planning (asset)
