Senior Operational Efficiency Advisor SOC

A career as a senior cybersecurity advisor in the operational effectiveness team of the Information Security Operations Centre (SOC) at National Bank means acting as a specialist in performance indicators and operational coordination. This job allows you to have a positive impact on the cybersecurity of our organization through your expertise in data management, your technical know-how and your ability to collaborate effectively.

This is a temporary position lasting twelve months

Your job

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to analyze their data needs and advise them on strategic metrics to track.
• Structure, integrate, and optimize various data sources to create powerful dashboards and reports through Power BI.
• Ensure the quality of data and continuous reports to ensure reliable and actionable information.
• Communicate key metrics to assess the effectiveness of security operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage requests and plan the activities of the penetration testing team in collaboration with several stakeholders.
• Improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of the team's deliverables.

Your team

The Information Security Vice-Presidency is made up of more than 100 specialists who work in an agile and collaborative manner to protect the Bank's assets and its customers. You will report to the Senior Director - SOC Operational Effectiveness and Cyber Resilience, as part of a dynamic and motivated team. Prerequisite

• Proven experience in Power BI development (modeling, DAX), including the creation of complex dashboards.
• Strong SQL and data integration skills.
• Expertise in data analysis and ability to translate results into actionable recommendations.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication and influence skills.
• Experience with JIRA, EazyBI, Confluence, an asset.
